To celebrate MLK day yesterday, Sean and I decided to check out Sangers & Joe, a fairly new brunch spot on Holly Street. Walking through the door, we both fell in love instantly. The décor was definitely on point! I loved the urban touches, the wood tables, and rustic lights. One of my favorite things about this place was that they had a free library section where you could pull a book off the shelf to read. How fun!
We ordered off of the “choose your own adventure” section of the menu. Each item from that section was around $3.00, so we each mixed a few items together. The potatoes were amazing…they had a ginger-taste, which was different. Also to note, when you order toast it comes with four pieces – next time we’ll share.
Overall, this place was a fun find. Price wise, it’s less expensive than somewhere like Magnolia House, or The Raymond (we’ll blog that place next!), yet the quality of food is still great.
If you’re in town, check it out!
